Month of February: Write On! Students in the Pacifica School District grades K-5 are encouraged to write an original poem and submit it to one of the Pacifica Libraries. The school with the most students participating wins a large stuffed animal to be kept in their school library until next year. Students can read their poems aloud at Florey’s Books on Sunday, March 2. Student poems will be kept in a binder and students will fill out a slip (surfboards) with their names for our Poetry Wall. (Slips will be color coded for the schools.).
