We’ve fulfilled our obligations as parents and now our kids are on their way, wherever that may lead. Our son is in his first semester of freshman year of college in Southern California. We dropped him off in August and because he’s a boy, we didn’t hear much from him until we saw him during Family Weekend in October. From what he says and the few photos we’ve seen, he seems to be doing great, if “great” means spending more time having fun than studying. Nothing to worry about there.
