The deadline for confidential nominations is 4:30 p.m. March 10. A selection committee will vote on the award recipient, who will be recognized at the May 14 board meeting. The award was established in memory of tireless volunteer Arthur Hecht, who served on the school board from 1970 to 1982. The award is given to someone who has exhibited exemplary volunteer efforts over time to make a difference for youth.
